Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Anchorage, Captain Cook's Own Alaska Highlanders is a registered non-profit 501(c)3 corporation organized under the laws of the State Alaska as a cultural and educational organization dedicated to the promotion of Celtic Culture with specific instruction on the playing of the Great Highland Warpipe, Scottish Snare, Tenor and Bass Drums. 

Our mission is supported by donations for our performances and by members and friends.
